Full Transaction Information Display
Terminals currently available on the market lack sufficient display screen space to show the complete transaction information, including the total sale, tip, non-cash charge, and tax lines. Some companies, like PAX, utilize the tax line to display the Non-Cash Charge, which leaves customers clueless about the tax fees associated with their transactions. Valor, however, can display all transactional information for customers to see and also allows the addition of customized information.
Paperless Signature / Receipt Option
Upon completing a transaction, your customers have the choice to receive their receipt as an SMS text receipt, email receipt, or a paper receipt. This option significantly reduces paper costs for you as a merchant. A digital copy of all sales receipts, complete with your customer’s signature, is stored in your Valor Merchant portal. This feature proves invaluable in combating chargebacks.
Contactless Payment
By accepting contactless payments, merchants, employees, and customers maintain a higher level of safety. Contactless payments eliminate the need for merchants and their employees to physically touch the customer’s card during payment processing. Our VL100 and VL110 terminals include a contactless payment option that can accept eWallet payments, such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and Android Pay.
Auto-Connection Failback Procedure
In the event of a standard connection failure, our terminals employ an auto-connection failback procedure that seamlessly transitions between dial-up/ethernet, Wi-Fi, 4G, or dial-up connections. When searching for a signal, the VL100 connection will automatically transition between dial-up/ethernet and Wi-Fi.
